Social Skills Groups across Metropolitan Melbourne
Social Skills are the means by which we navigate the social world around us. Those with well-developed and age-appropriate social skills are more likely to succeed at school and in the workplace, and will generally be more resilient. For children on the autism spectrum, social skills are rarely learnt by osmosis – they have to be explicitly taught. Along with teaching comes the need for practise – and here’s where regular attendance at a social skills group may come in handy.
